Man Utd have made demands in Joshua Zirkzee’s talks with Juventus

Manchester United will demand Juventus to commit to permanent status transfer if they want to sign striker Joshua Zirkzee this month, the report claims.

Zirkzee has struggled since his £36.5million move to Old Trafford in the summer, scoring just four goals in 27 appearances and failing to hold down a regular place under new head coach Ruben Amorim, who apologized to the Dutch striker after replacing him in the first half of the recent 2-0 defeat by Newcastle United.

Returning to Serie A, where he flourished last season with Bologna, boasted for Zirkzee, s Juventus he wants to reunite him with his old boss Thiago Motta.

Gianluca Di Marzio states that contact has been established between Juventus and Unitedwith the Italian team looking to loan Zirkzee this month.

Although United would be open to a loan move for Zirkzee, they will only do such a deal if Juventus commit to a mandatory buyout clause. A permanent transfer would be United’s preferred structure as they have to sell players to raise the funds needed for reinforcements in January.

So far, Juventus have shown no willingness to sign Zirkzee permanently, with early talks making very little progress.

There is no mention of Zirkzee’s position on the deal, but it was recently reported that the 23-year-old has already made it clear he doesn’t want to leave United so soon after their arrival, rather than preferring to play a role in their possible resurgence during the second half of the campaign.
