Leeds’ move for a “fast” player who has 9 goals this season
As they wish to progress towards promotion, Leeds United now they are reportedly thinking about signing an attacking reinforcement who has already scored nine goals this season.
Leeds transfer news
Although they are yet to begin their January jobs, Leeds are in no position to panic at the top Priority and on course to earn promotion back to the Premier League when he claims the floor for the second time Daniel Farke.
But that doesn’t mean they didn’t look at potential reinforcements. Names such as Emmanuel Latte Lath they have already threatened to steal the headlines and may continue to do so as the window continues to open.
The Middlesbrough striker has been in top form in the current campaign and would offer Farke an ideal boost in attack to potentially replace Patrick Bamford and compete with Joel Piroe for a place in his strongest squad for the rest of the season.

Recruiting from their Championship rivals won’t come cheap though, and those at Elland Road appear to have already considered potential alternatives as a result of this month.
According to Sky Sports, Leeds are now considering signing Willem Geubbels on loan from Swiss FC St. Gallen until the end of the season. In a move that could see them fend off any competition from other interested clubs West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City, the Whites could welcome a striker who is far from shy in front of goal.
Still only 23 years old, Geubbels has yet to reach the peak of his power, but he has already done so nine goals in just 23 games in all competitions for St. Gallen this season. Having received interest from Leeds and the 49ers as a result this month, the forward could yet complete his return to the limelight for the first time since leaving AS Monaco in 2023.
“Speedy” Geubbels could be an upgrade for Leeds
After an impressive breakthrough as a Lyon youth player that earned him a move to Monaco, Geubbels has struggled to find his form and prove his praise right. It seemed that it would be the same case in St. Gallen before he achieved such great success in the last two campaigns. Now he may have done enough to fight his way back to the big stage.
Called “quick” and “creative”. The Rangers Journal at the start of last year, the Frenchman would undoubtedly be an upgrade on Bamford, who is yet to score or start in the current Championship campaign.
On loan, the 23-year-old is a player Leeds could gamble on, especially as they push for promotion and potential title success until Mayo’s arrival.
