Key rafah transition between Gaza and Egypt re -open for medical evacuation | Israel-Palestine News of Conflict
The EU again oversees a key border crossing that has been closed to people since May 2024 in the middle of the war of Israel against Gaza.
The European Union has re -launched its civilian mission of the monitoring of the border crossing in Rafah, as the key transit point between Gaza and Egypt will reopen on Saturday for medical evacuation.
On Friday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that numerous Palestinians – including injured civilians and fighters of Hamas – would enter on Saturday by Egypt through the turn of Rafah, which has been closed to human traffic ever since May 2024.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the transportation of patients from two hospitals in the north and south of the endlave would be coordinated with the World Health Organization.
