A damaged flight data recorder recovered from the Jeju Air crash site in South Korea will be sent to the US for analysis as the data could not be returned to the country, South Korea’s civil aviation ministry said on Wednesday. The crash of the Boeing 737-800 killed 179 people in the worst aviation accident on South Korean soil.
