Israel says Netanyahu invited to meet Trump in the White House
Benjamin Netanyahu was invited to meet with US President Donald Trump in the White House next week, the Prime Minister’s office said.
The visit, which is Trump’s administration that is yet to be confirmed, should be held on February 4th.
Netanyahua office said in a statement that Israeli Prime Minister is the first foreign leader to be invited to the White House during Trump’s second term.
On Monday, while in the Air Force, one said Netanyahu would travel to Washington to meet him “very quickly” without giving a certain date.
The meeting comes since a six -week truce is observed in Gaza after an agreement between Israel and Hamas has been reached to stop the war.
Would come and after Trump said last week that they want Egypt and Jordan to take over Palestinians From Gaza, after describing the railway as a “place of demolition.”
Both Hamas and the Palestinian administration condemned the proposal. Jordan and Egypt also rejected the idea.
However, the idea of encouraging Gazan to move to neighboring countries has long been pushed by the hard -working right -wing members of the Netanyahu government.
The fire interruption agreement in January stopped the war that began when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing about 1,200 people and taking 251 back to Gaza as hostage.
More than 47,200 Palestinians, majority civilians, were killed in the later offensive of Israel, says the Hamas Ministry of Health.
