Inventories in Turkey fall as trade closes; BIST 100 down 0.18% Investing.com
Investing.com – Turkey equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, it lost 0.18 percent.
The best performers of the session were Coca-Cola Icecek AS (IS: ), which rose 6.05% or 3.35 points to trade at 58.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Alfa Solar Enerji AS (IS:) added 4.45% or 3.15 points to end at 73.95 and Tekfen Holding AS (IS: ) was up 3.94% or 2.45 points to 64.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Selcuk Ecza Deposu Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (IS: ), which fell 4.62% or 3.70 points to 76.40 at the close. Vestel Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS: ) declined 4.11% or 2.75 points to end at 64.20 and Baticim Bati Anadolu Cimento Sanayi AS (IS: ) declined 4.01% or 0.17 points to 4.07.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 361 to 203, with 15 ending unchanged.
Gold futures for February delivery rose 0.21% or 5.74 to $2,684.34 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude for March delivery fell 0.88% or 0.68 to $76.62 a barrel, while the March Brent crude contract fell 0.94% or 0.76 to 80, 25 dollars per barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.05% at 35.49, while EUR/TRY was up 0.45% at 36.50.
US dollar index futures fell 0.47% to 109.29.
