International League T20 (ILT20) 2025 squads: List of players and captains of all six teams
The International League T20 (ILT20) is preparing for its third season, which is scheduled to begin on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Dubai International Stadium. The month-long extravaganza promises exciting cricketing action, with 34 matches scheduled until February 9.
Squad updates and wildcard additions
Ahead of the tournament, several key changes were made to the team lineups:
Phil Salt has joined the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders: England opener Phil Salt has been added to the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders as a Wildcard, bringing his aggressive batting skills to the team.
Sufiyan Muqeem replaces Hassan Khan: Pakistani left-armer Sufiyan Muqeem has been selected in the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders squad, replacing Hassan Khan, who is unavailable for the tournament.
Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar joins MI Emirates: Afghanistan spinner Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar, known for his impressive skills, will bolster the MI Emirates bowling attack.
Vijayakanth Vijayakanth added to Abu Dhabi Knight Riders: Vijayakanth Viyaskanth of Sri Lanka will also feature for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, adding depth to their bowling options.
