Paarl Royals created history on Saturday (January 25th) throughout his match against Praetoria Capitals in the current SA20 2025.
They became the first team in the franchise of the T20 Crown to throw out the entire inings of 20 overans using only spinners. The move also paid off, as they managed to defend modest 140 runs and defeated Pretoria Capitalse with 11 runs.
Bowling first, Pretoria Capitals used pacere in tandem in the field where the spiners were more effective. As a result, Paarl Royals kisses were able to maintain the result at a Semaphor with a good pace. Of the 20 overalls, the Capitals have reached a total of 11 overrays by Spinner.
Royals, on the other hand, relied completely on Spinnere to deliver 20 overrabs and were properly rewarded. Bjorn Fortuin, Dunith Wellalage, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Nqabayomzi Peter and Joe Root have achieved four overalls. Fortuin, Mujeeb and Root were given two wickekets, while Wellalage won one Wickket.

Asked to hit the first, Paarl Royals published a competitive total result 140/4. They had 41/3 at one stage, but they managed to recover thanks to the undefeated 50 from Joe Root. Things could have been completely different for Royals that James Neesham had not made a kick on the field and gave Root delay when he was only 13 years old.
Neesham caught Root, but the ball slipped from his hands after a few seconds. In the end, the third judge ruled in favor of the percussion. Root took the opportunity to maximally and achieved an undefeated 78 on a difficult ground.

In response, Pretoria Capitals have completed their changes to 129/7. The driver Will Jacks achieved a combat 50 but did not receive good support on the other side. The Capitals had a bad start and lost to 23/3 after Powerplay.
Jacks and Kyle Verreynne then shared 77 runs for the Wickkete fourth before this one left for 30. After the pedestal was interrupted, the Capitals Innings re -jumped out of the rails and eventually ended up at 129 for 7.
The victory helped Royals to further strengthen its place at the top of the scoring table. Their victory was the fifth in a row and the sixth in seven games. On the other hand, Pretoria Capitals stretch in fifth place with only one win from seven games.
