Harlem Eubank says Adam Azim Fighting can still happen | ‘I’m always interested in big fights’ | Boxing news
Harlem Eubank believes that a competition with Adam Azim, which paused last year, could still be established.
The fight went after she looked at the set for 2024 and Eubank said Sky Sports: “There is a lot of IFS -ai that has kept us from the ring for 12 months. I’ll just be focused on what I have in front of me.
“But I’m always interested in big struggles still down the line, if it’s Adam Azim, it’s Adam Azim. But for now I’m completely locked [Tyrone] McKenna. “
Azim also has the first fight. On Saturday boxes Sergey Lipinets, former IBF Super-Festival World List, Live Sky Sports.
Promotor Ben Shalom said Sky Sports: “Harlem Eubank obviously calls on Adam and loves a fight. It would be a big fight and that’s the fight we should have had.
“By the time it came after Adam’s injury, Harlem honestly wanted to prepare one or two back for such a big fight. There is no reason why this cannot happen.
“We want fights with a big profile and we know what Eubank is called in British boxing.”
But he added, “I don’t want to put a greater pressure on the fact that on Saturday night he fights against the former world champion and that could really go in any case. Let’s see how to perform. If he performs well, I would love to do it that fight.”
Next, in his hometown in March, Eubank will box Tyrone McKenna.
McKenna was certainly an aggressor in verbal exchanges at their press conference, questioning Eubank’s opposition level.
McKenna said Sky Sports: “He will feel a lot of pressure on this fight. I am the best opponent he had. It is in his hometown, ahead of his own fans, on his Wasserman show.
“I go in as a fighter.”
Eubank, 30, is clearly feeling different, wanting to achieve another emphasized appearance in Brighton after his best career victory over Timo Schwarzkopf in November 2023.
“When I’m home here, I always feel like I’m rising at that occasion, especially with a step in the opponent,” he said.
“It always motivates me to go there and prove the point. I am motivated to do so on March 7 against Tyrone McKenne.”
