West Ham United manager Graham Potter he is personally keen for the citizens of East London to consider signing up Premier League loan player and the Englishman reportedly gave his opinion on the arrivals after leading them to their first win under his management earlier this week.

Their goals were in the flow of play, but Potter would have been pleased with West Ham’s relentlessness in front of goal. Alexi Iwobi did grab one back for the away side with the first goal to make it 2-1, although Lucas Paqueta was soon on hand to restore the Irons’ two-goal lead after capitalizing on a serious Fulham error.
Iwobi’s second was not enough to get any result for Fulham as West Ham ran out 3-2 winners, and after the game Potter revealed his plans to build a foundation of “togetherness” at the club.
“The starting point is the basis of unity and the basis of the team”, Potter said BBC Sport.
“We were far from perfect. But in terms of the application of the players and the way they fought and suffered, they were really, really good.
“We have to look at the context of what happened and it’s been a difficult week for the players and we’re missing players, especially up front. But despite that, the team spirit, the team effort and the willingness to try was fantastic.”
Another task for Potter is assisting West Ham’s recruitment team as we approach the busy end of January. West Ham are in talks to sign a striker this month, with Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi among their targets (Florian Plettenberg). The German media also write that West Ham are closing in on a deal for Andre Silva from RB Leipzigbut it has yet to gain traction closer to home.
Potter wants West Ham to consider a January deal for Chukwuemeka
According to highly reliable club insider ExWHUemployee, they are also eyeing midfield reinforcements ahead of the February 3 deadline.
This resulted in their interest in Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka. The 21-year-old’s contract includes a 40 million pounds release clause but Potter apparently wants West Ham to consider taking Chukwuemeka on loan.
“We’ve already mentioned the names but the two Chelsea lads, Chukwuemeka and Dewsbury-Hall are the loanees that Potter is said to be very keen to investigate,” said Ex. “We remain very interested in Dutch midfielder Banzuzi who we hope will join us over other clubs.”
While the former jewel of Aston Villa is out of favor with Enzo Maresca, the football legend Marcel Desailly has praised Chukwuemeka in the past, calling him “clinical” and an “artist” on the ball.
