Gabriel Jesus: Arsenal striker suffers suspected ACL injury in FA Cup defeat to Manchester United | Football news

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus suffered a suspected ACL injury in Sunday’s FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.

Jesus started the cup game against United but was forced off after just 41 minutes, replaced by Raheem Sterling.

The 27-year-old has seen his Arsenal career blighted by injury since arriving from Manchester City in 2022 and is now set for an extended spell on the sidelines following his latest setback.

The Brazil international has scored six goals in his last seven appearances for Arsenal, who could now be forced into action in the January transfer window after losing their only recognized centre-forward.
