As 2025 unfolds, Team India is set for an action-packed cricket calendar, featuring a series of high-stakes matches and tournaments. The schedule includes a final exam Granica-Gavaskar Trophybilateral series against England and the ICC Champions Trophy, before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Granica-Gavaskar Trophy
The year begins with the final Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test against Australia from January 3-7 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). This match is crucial for India as it could significantly affect their chances of qualifying for the finals of the ICC Test World Cup.
India vs England series
After their Australian tour, India will host England for a bilateral series that includes both T20Is and ODIs:
