F1 launches 2025: All cars, liveries, dates ahead of new season with all-new schedule and line-ups | F1 news

Prepare for the 2025 F1 season by staying on top of all the key dates as teams announce plans to launch their new cars.

Formula 1’s announcement of the first-ever 20-driver all-team event at London’s O2 Arena on February 18 has cast doubt on whether teams will still stage their usual individual pre-season events.

It was only when, speaking at Ferrari’s annual pre-Christmas media day, the Italian outfit’s team principal Frederic Vasseur confirmed a February 19 date for his own launch that it became clear that this was likely to be the case across the grid.

Williams, meanwhile, announced the reveal ahead of F1’s special 75th anniversary event, suggesting the launch calendar could still take a more conventional form with teams holding their events during the month of February.

Below are all the launches that have been confirmed so far.

F1 special event: February 18 launch

A special event to mark the start of Formula 1’s 75th anniversary will take place at London’s iconic O2.

It will feature all 20 drivers and interviews with key players in the sport, as well as live music and entertainment for fans in attendance.

Tickets for the event reportedly sold out in less than an hour, with fans eager to get their first glimpse of a network that features many changes after years of relative stability.

Teams are expected to unveil their new liveries on the 2024 cars, as opposed to revealing their actual new challengers for the 2025 season.

Williams: Launching on February 14th

Williams has confirmed that the FW47 will be launched at Silverstone on Valentine’s Day.

This could be Carlos Sainz’s first official media appearance as a Williams driver, having moved from Ferrari after being replaced by Lewis Hamilton.

Williams will present the car in a unique bespoke livery, saving the unveiling of the 2025 race livery to be used by Sainz and Alex Albon to introduce the entire team on February 18.

In a statement accompanying the launch announcement, Sainz said: “We’re not far from launching the car at Silverstone and I can’t wait to see my new ride!”

Ferrari: February 19 launch

Whether he was meant to be or not, Vasseur has lifted the lid on what will be a highly anticipated Ferrari unveiling ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s first season with the team.

If we look at previous years, the media will probably get a more in-depth opportunity to talk to Hamilton and his new teammate Charles Leclerc.

It remains to be seen whether Ferrari will use this event to reveal its actual design for 2025 or wait until testing a week later.
