ESPN airs Trump’s message during college football’s national title game, causing social media meltdown
On Monday, ESPN decided to air a message from President Trump during halftime of the national football championship between Ohio State and Notre Dame.
Trump was unable to attend the game, which took place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, because he was celebrating his return to the White House and attending the inaugural balls.
His messagehowever, he was clear: “America’s golden age has begun.”

“Greetings to my dear fellow Americans. This has been a historic and exciting day for our country. Our people have suffered greatly in recent years, but starting now, we will take America back and make America safer, richer and prouder than ever before,” Trump said. .
“We will have a nation full of compassion, strength and exceptionalism. With our might and power we will stop wars and bring our world to peace. We will be respected again and we will be welcomed again — admired as we haven’t been in many, many years. We will put America first , and in doing so, we will make America great again.

Trump was seen on ESPN on college football games ago. He participated in the national championship in January 2020 when it was held in New Orleans.
