England men’s cricket fixtures 2025: Test fixtures confirmed, including The Ashes, plus ODIs and T20s | Cricket news
The full list of confirmed Tests, One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals for England in 2025, the year ending with the Ashes series in Australia.
Brendon McCullum begins his tenure as England’s head coach for all formats on Wednesday as his side take on India in the first of five T20 matches in Kolkata.
England have won 22 of 35 Tests under the McCullum-Ben Stoke regime, triumphing just once in the previous 17. McCullum was brought into England’s white-ball squads after they relinquished both World Cup crowns in the last 18 months.
Early signs are that the former New Zealand captain will bring the same style to the T20 and ODI squads as he is “desperate for us to play a really watchable kind of cricket”, with England captain Jos Buttler relishing the opportunity to work with McCullum.
“I was a fan of Brendon McCullum as a player and I would always love to play with him,” Buttler said. “I have a lot of admiration for what he has done with New Zealand.
“You get along really well with him [former England captain] Eoin Morgan, who is one of my good friends, so I met him through him and through various franchise tournaments that we were both at at the same time.
“It’s a strong bond and I’m really excited to develop a professional relationship between coach and captain. It’s really energized me and I’ve been looking forward to this moment since it was mentioned that Baz might become a white ball coach as well.”
