Star country music Carly Pearce It shares an update of health after its diagnosed cardiac condition called pericarditis.
The 34-year-old singer in detail described her “intense” symptoms during “Today” symptoms.
“I had a really exhausting chest pain that was easier only if it bent down (leaning forward), which is a classic symptom of pericarditis,” she explained in the morning show.

“And then when you lie back, it gets worse because that wall is somehow inflamed around your heart.”
Pericarditis is a pericardic inflammation, a structure of a similar bag with two thin layer of tissue that surrounds the heart to keep it in place and help protect against damage from infection and malignancy, according to The American Heart Association.
Pearce added, “I just had a really intense shortness of breath … I almost had to suck … straw.”

She also gave a health update for almost five years after living with a heart condition.
“I have what is called repeating pericarditis. I had a few flashes of 2020.”
“I’m going better. I’m healthy, I’m trying to find my new normal,” Pearce said. “I have what is called repeating pericarditis. I had a few flashes of 2020.”
When asked if he needed to change his lifestyle because of his heart condition, Pearce replied: “With a hectic schedule, I just have to maintain balance.”
