While NFL fans let their opinions fly on social media, head referee Bill Vinovich was seen walking up to the Bills’ bench to speak with Allen. It happened right after the missed penalty.
“I wasn’t happy with what was going on, I was yelling a little bit and he said, ‘Don’t fight. I’m sorry,'” Allen said of the postgame interaction, via Talking about professional football.
Fortunately, the missed call didn’t affect the game too much.
