‘Bigger than that’ – Kulusevsky triggers a permanent defense of Tottenham Postecoglou chief and indicates a lack of help of the committee

Dejan Kulusevski came to the solid defense of Ange Postecoglou, insisting that Tottenham’s struggles arise from deeper problems outside the manager or team.

Postecoglou finds themselves under increasing supervision as Spurs falls 15th in the Premier League after a lawsuit from just one victory in 11 league matches.

However, the victory against Elfsborg on Thursday would secure their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League, and as they stand now, they remain in a quarrel in both domestic Cup competitions.

The increased injury crisis seriously affected the team, and 11 older players are not available during Sunday 2-1 to Leicester.

Despite the repeated petitions of Postecoglou for reinforcement, the club has yet to bring any older signatures on the field in the current transfer window.

Acknowledging the terrible situation, Kulusevski admitted that things were not passed in this term, but there is still room for success.

He said, “I agree with [Postecoglou]. We really go in the cups, so we easily focus on [the] League, but we are very going to the Cup.

“This [Elfsborg] is an important game and if we win, we go to the next round, so I think in the last four months we can do good things.

“We had games when we showed perfect football, football that can’t play many teams in the world.

“We played nice games against [Manchester] United, against [Manchester] City 4-0 so I think [Postecoglou] is a real man.

“We play for him. We want to win for him and be honest, we have similar ideas. I am very positive as a guy and I always want to play the football I want. I have to fight for him because I believe that football. Yes, I think he is real man.

“We are 10, 11 players in four competitions and this is not fine and that is why the team is especially paying that price in the league. You can see managers and players, but the higher than that, it is all involved.

“We play three games a week with nine or 10 players. That’s all I have to say, it’s nothing more than that. I think everyone has to look at the picture and wonder how we came so far. That’s it. “
