Kelce himself appeared at a June 11 signing at the Valley Forge Casino Hotel near Philadelphia, where Kelce played 13 seasons with the Eagles. Branco photographed Kelce to make things look more legitimate.

Police were tipped off by a Pennsylvania-based memorabilia company that had been in contact with Kelce to sign the items.

“The investigation revealed that Capone, Parenti and Branco conspired to use the credentials of Branco’s Beckett Authentication Services to create counterfeit autographed sports memorabilia and then offer them for sale as authentically signed Kelce merchandise,” authorities said in a press release. .
