Dough for cookies with fresh cheese, rich in proteins
When you imagine making holiday treats, you probably envision five-pound bags of flour and sugar, a kitchen sink full of mixing bowls, and a buttered apron. It’s an activity that can take hours and means tasting at least one of each batch of cookies as they come out of the oven.
But this is not the only way to produce a seasonal sweet. This chocolate chip cookie dough comes together in minutes with minimal mess. No need to turn on the oven.
And best of all, it’s packed with protein. Fresh cheese is your superpower when it comes to enjoying a high-protein dessert. While some prefer it on its own, it owes its great popularity to its versatility.
You can use fresh cheese in all kinds of different recipes. (Trust us, we wrote a few of them!) That includes a ton of desserts, but this indulgent, high-protein cookie dough might just be our favorite.

Cake dough with fresh cheese
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- ⅔ cup of almond flour
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Mix cottage cheese, maple syrup, protein powder, almond flour and vanilla extract in a food processor.
- Process until smooth.
- Remove the mixture from the processor and place it in a bowl.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and dig in!
