How to eat ‘a little less toxic’ in the kitchen becomes a mother’s mantra after health scare

“I’m not extreme in any of these things, but there are some things that, if I have an alternative or if I don’t need it, I just won’t buy it,” she said.

Holman has advice to anyone who wants to make similar food changes at home, but maybe uncertain where to start.
“Just be simple,” she said. “You can make a burger but you can make it simpler and real ingredients of whole food to make it more nutritious and supporting your body. “

A healthier diet does not have to include “expensive superfoods,” she said.
