Vikings have an opening for a veteran striker after last year’s starter, Sam Darnold, signed with Seattle Seahawks. However, Minnesota also had a former national champion in Michigan JJ McCarthy, the first round of the team in the 2024 design.

Rodgers, at the age of 41, is not considered to be a long -term solution for any team.

Famous NFL Agent Leigh Steinberg, who has negotiated contracts for multiple celebrity halls, told Fox News Digital to predict Minnesota as a “positive fit” for Rodgers in his career, especially because of McCarthy’s presence as a potential protégé and a team suitable for victory in the short term.

“So, you need to have a situation where, because Aaron may play for another year at best, maybe play for another two years, but it’s not a permanent solution, so it’s a one -year or two years of repair,” Steinberg said. “So he could go to a team that is really good, but just needs that last piece to put them on top, and he could mentor the younger attacker.”

Brett Favre begs Aaron Rodgers to sign with one particular team: ‘A good place to win’

Steinberg also believes that without a chance to win in the short term, and without a young striker on his list he would not be so good. Giants are a team that suits that mold. Steelers may have had a winning record last season, but not this year to be good again. They also have no young project.

“A team that is really dissatisfied with their return blow that leads him would not be so positive for the solution,” Steinberg said.

If Rodgers eventually gets a Viking offer and signs with them, he would follow the almost identical career path to that predecessor Green Bay Packer, Brett Favre. Like Favre, Rodgers played with the Packers a large majority of his career, winning Super Bowl before he traded in New York Jets. Favre has spent the last two years at Vikings.

Favre offered Rodgers advice and encouraged him to sign himself with Viking on Tuesday during an interview at Fox News Channel -“The Will Cain Show”.

“In any case, sign them,” Favre said. “They got a really good football team. They were abandoned in almost every position. Last year they placed themselves in the playoffs. They got a huge fans base, much like Packers. If you get the opportunity, it’s a good place to win.

“Of course, then you have to play Packers.”
