Trump’s nominated candidate confirmed that he will lead the work department

Senate confirmed former Ambassador Oregon Lori Chavez-Dememer to run the Ministry of Labor, marking the end of the President Donald Trump Cabinet secretaries.
Chavez-Demer confirmed the Senate with two-sided support at 67-32 votes on Monday night. Three RepublicansSENS. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Rand Paul, R-Ky., And Ted Budd, RN.C., voted against Chavez-Deer’s confirmation.
“The American people require and deserve changes after four years of economic pain in the” most proprific administration in American history. “Unfortunately, the record of Lori Chavez-Demera, pushing policies forcing diligent Americans, suggests more the same thing,” McConnell said in a statement.
Paul consistently opposed the Chavez-Demera nomination because of her past support for the protection of the law on organizing the right to organize, voting against the proposal to continue the nomination to the final vote of the Senate.
