Virat kohli showers champagne on Rishabh Panto before attacked by Harshit Wound


Team India Batter Virat Kohli may not have given a big appearance in the final conflict of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, but stole light during the celebration after the match. Kohli was seen having fun in the Wickeket-Batter Rishabh Pant, and the video quickly became viral over the social media platforms.

India secured its second consecutive ICC title because Rohit Sharma led the team to victory in the finals of the Trophy champion. Team India beat New Zealand for four shots in the finals at the International Krixket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday, March 9th. They finished the tournament without losing a single match.

During the trophy ceremony, while the Indian National Cricket team lined up for a group photo, Virat Kohli grabbed a bottle of champagne and sprayed it on Rishabh Pant. The young guard was completely shocked by the former Indian skipper.

It is significant that the 36-year-old dough secured its fourth ICC title from the India National Crickket team as a player. He won the 2011 World Cup, the 2013 champion trophy and the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Virat Kohli had an impressive campaign in the champion trophy. He was fired at just one ride in the final against New Zealand. The dough ended the tournament with 218 runs in five matches, an average of 54.50 with a hit of 82.88, including a century and one half a century.

Kohli played two key knocks – undefeated 100 against Pakistan and 84 against Australia – which was crucial in leading India to the finals.

The 36-year-old will be seen in action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, which will start on March 22. Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) will take over Kolkat Knight Riders (KKR) at the season’s opening opener at Eden Gardens.

Speaking after the match, Kohli stated that they wanted to win the title after a disappointing Trophy Border-Gavaskar series. Kohli mentioned that the players had pressure and that the team had an incredible tournament.

“It was amazing, we wanted to refuse after Australia’s tour. We wanted to win. I feel good that we are part of such a young talent, we are happy to help, try to make an impact whenever there is a chance,” Kohli said.

“These are things, you are looking forward to the situation under pressure. The teams have increased the different situation, everyone has given themselves at different times, such impressive blows, magic. Only collective effort can win the titles. We spent a great time as a team and it was an incredible tournament,” he continued.
