Romania forbade the ultimate right leaders in the presidential vote of the country to participate in the elections, in a move that comes despite the US warnings to respect the wishes of the voters.
The election bureau in the country said on Sunday that it was canceled by Călin Georgesca’s candidacy after receiving complaints that he had violated laws against extremism.
Repeated elections were scheduled for May 8 and 22 after the Constitutional Court abolished the first round in November after charges of Russian mixing in favor of Georgescu.
A recent survey suggested that he was a leader and some quoted more than 40 percent.
