The Syrian temporary president persuades common peace as they continue deadly conflicts

Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa called for peace on Sunday after hundreds killed in coastal areas in the worst communal violence since the fall of Bashara Al Assad.

“We need to preserve national unity and local peace, we can live together,” said Al-Sharaa, a temporary president, while conflicts continued between forces associated with new Islamist rulers and fighters from Assad Alawit.

“Be sure of Syria, this country has characteristics for survival,” Al-Sharaa said in a circulated video, speaking in the Mazzah childhood mosque in Damascus. “What is currently happening in Syria is within the expected challenges.”

Syrian security sources said that at least two hundred of their members were killed in conflicts with former armies of staff for the loyalty of Assad after coordinated attacks and ambushes on Thursday leading forces.

Attacks rolled into a vengeance murder when thousands of armed supporters of new Syrian leaders from all over the country lowered into coastal areas to support the relaxed forces of a new administration

The authorities blamed the summaries of the executions of dozens of young and deadly raids on homes in the villages and cities inhabited by the once ruling minority of Syria about the rude armed militia who came to help with security forces and have long blamed Assad’s supporters for past crimes.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a war monitor based in the UK, said on Saturday two days of fighting in the Mediterranean coastal region, have been presenting some of the worst violence in 13-year-old civil conflict for years.

Conflicts continued overnight in several cities where armed groups fired on security forces and ambushed cars on highways that led to the major cities in the coastal area, Syrian safety source said on Sunday.
