The man survived that the train had run over him as he slept by railway lines in Peru, local authorities said.
Supervisory recordings show that it lying motionless before a slow -moving freight train establish contact with it. Shortly after the incident in Lima, he gets to his feet.
“He was obviously in a state of intoxication, fell asleep along the railway lines and did not feel the train was coming,” said local official General Javier Avalos.
The man has only suffered only smaller injuries to his left hand, General Avalos added and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
