Wnba players Angel Reese And Dijonai Carrington called criticisms directed by the newer league fans during the Episode of Reese’s Podcasta “In -Parachtial Angel” on Friday.
Both players were the subject of sharp comments of fans after controversial interactions with a phenomenon Caitlin Clark.
Reese faced criticism for her interactions with Clark dating from the 2023 NCAA Championship game, when Reese showed her finger after she led LSU to the title of Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes.
2024 Reese and some of her Chicago Sky teammates committed a number of controversial offenses on Clark at four WNBA meetings.

“It’s hard, especially because two black women are unpollgedly, we will use our s — And to say what we have to say. And I stand at what we said. I feel like it’s really difficult,” Reese said on Friday in the show about the criticism she receives.
Carrington faced an intense back blow after handing his nails to Clark’s eyes in the playoffs between Clark Indiana Fever and Carrington’s previous team, The Connecticut Sun, in September. Carrington also spoke against Clark and her fans base earlier.

“They are really loose in their mouths,” Carrington said of her critics. “I know they think these are trolls, but it’s not just trolls. These are the people we see in real life.”
But for Reese and Carrington, some of the comments that most bother them are those who relate to their appearance.
“I hate when people say that,” Oh, she’s too worried about makeup, hair and eyelash, nails and clothing, “Reese said.
Carrington said she was not trying when people say she pays too much attention to her look, but said she “hates” when people ask why she has blond hair.

Despite these complaints, Reese may have indirectly implied her feelings for Clark’s appearance. At one point during the interview, Reese listed WNBA “Negatives”, who is an urban slang for a person who is confident, stylish and attractive.
“They knew who the villains were, you [Carrington]Me, Cameron [Brink]Kia [Nurse]”Reese said.
Reese left Clark from that list.
However, at no point in the episode, in no way, Carrington or Reese addressed Clara.
