Tottenham are in talks to sign a £50million “superstar” who is a bit like Harry Kane

Maybe they have a League Cup he is looking forward to the semi-finals this week, but as things stand, this season has been poor Tottenham Hotspur.

The defeat against Newcastle United on Saturday was the team’s tenth in the Premier League this season, leaving them inside 12th place title in the North London derby at the Emirates.

However, while there are undoubtedly reasons for concern Ange Postecoglou team, there are some reasons for optimism, such as the fact that they are second in goals in the league.

That impressive goal scoring ability could be further reinforced this month as recent reports have linked the club with the talented forward who has been compared to Harry Kane of all people.

Jacobs claims that the North Londoners have held internal discussions about the player and that other interested parties are Aston Villa, AC Milan, Juventus, Bayern and RB Leipzig.

The French champions expect the striker to leave this month, and while they would be willing to loan him out, they would prefer to sell him permanently, which according to another report earlier this month could cost up to 60 million euroswhich is around £50 million.

He could be an expensive and complicated transfer to get over the line, but given Kolo Munai’s ability, he’s worth pursuing, especially given the comparison to Kane.

So before we get into some of the other reasons why Spurs should go out and sign Kolo Muani this month, let’s examine this comparison with club legend Kane and where it came from.

However, while they are brilliant, the comparisons to the England captain are not the only reason why the North Londoners should be looking to bring in the ‘ice-cold’ Frenchman, as they call him German legend Lothar Matthaus.

Moreover, despite the lack of minutes this season, the potential “superstar,” as dubbed by Matthausthere is 27 senior caps to his name for France, in which he scored seven goals and registered four assists, which is good considering the level of that team.

Ultimately, while Spurs have a number of incredibly talented strikers at their disposal, adding someone with the raw ability of Kolo Muani could be a real game-changer, and the comparisons to Kane are just an added bonus.
