Last week I attended a roundtable with Pamo Bonda General and several state attorneys on Protection of female sports. As I have been so many times before I inflicted Maine uniform, I proudly represented my state, my community and my teammates.
But unfortunately my State Attorney State Attorney, who should be an advocate of women’s interests and girls in condition of the maineHe didn’t even bother to attend. In fact, none of the Attorney General or one of the five athletes involved in the discussion came to the meeting.
Although these public officials will not raise their voice in defense of girls in their countries, we – for ourselves, for our teammates and countless athletes who follow.

We know we’re not alone. We supported this struggle against our own state government by the US people, Attorney General Bondi and the President Donald Trump.
I am a runner and I know the race to rescue women’s sports has started great
As three athletes athletes in Maine-Nogomet, Nordic skiing and track and field-I was shocked and disappointed when I heard Maine rules Janet Mills‘Recent comments that he intends to continue his fight against an executive order for the prohibition of biological males from the sport of female and girls.
I know the level of stain, determination, passion and sacrifice needed to stand out in physical competition. Girls have been tirelessly harder for years to perfect their skills and perfect their performance.
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a national champion and I worked hard every day since then to achieve that goal. It was exciting to win the state title in the track and ground last season. Like many athletes, I progress when I face the challenge.
Contrary to my experience as a trail athlete, Nordic skiing sometimes made different emotions. When they first told me that the biological male would compete against me, my new goal became to win him. I faced every previous athletic obstacle with persistence and determination, and I was determined to continue participating in my sport and competing to win ..
Maine’s athletes who pay the price for the extremism of state politicians
But the presence of transgender athletes in sports of women and girls is an impossible and unfair challenge. The fact is that men and boys have a clear biological advantage over women and girls.
No matter how hard they try, athletes will never be able to compete on equal ground against male athletes. It is unfair and cruel to ignore this reality at the expense of female athletic excellence.
Blood, sweat and tears that athletes poured into training and exercise become meaningless when we are denied the opportunity to compete fairly. Allowing men in women’s sports Move a goal to an unattainable new standard.
These policies are not passed; They are anti-feast. Their practical consequence is the removal of national titles, championships, records and scholarships of deserving women.
My heart is broken for countless athletes who have included in their excellent competitions just to have their hard -to -get differences, as the best in their fields, their biological males have taken away. I know how it feels – an immediate sense of defeat that washes you because you cannot surpass or even harmonize the power of someone who is naturally far beyond your physical caliber.
A comprehensive war to athletes now ends thanks to President Trump
This is not something that I or any other athlete should ever feel. Allowing men in women’s and maiden sports is betrayed by all female sports to protect themselves: a space in which women can compete and excellent and excellently manage, and the talents and dignity of glory and honor.
Likewise, as a Christian, I believe that every person has a peculiar dignity and applies and possesses unique talents and abilities given to God. It does not diminish women to say that men and women are biologically different and that men can usually surpass women in physical competition – this is a scientific fact and deny it, especially in bypassing Title IX protectionIt just harms women.
In order for women to flourish, we must have spaces where we will celebrate and protect our unique features, capabilities and talents.
Because of this, I say: future generations of athletes deserve their femininity to celebrate and honored their achievements. They deserve the same opportunities as in years before I forced myself to compete against the biological males who were falling into my division.
Will Democrats confront women or let men destroy girls’ sports?
I am really afraid of the future of female sports if countries like mine continue in that direction. Girls of all ages are watched by women deleting from sports – they can no longer trust that their efforts and dedication will be honored with a fair hit against their physical equal equal.
We have to win this battle for them. This is a competition we can’t lose.
I was hoping that our governor would fight for us and for equal conditions that took so much time to insurance, but showed that her protection of Maine’s athletes was not a priority.

Although Government Mills actively tries to take away our capabilities, I believe that President and army of a trainee coachParents and officials across the country will re -establish righteousness and reason in a female and girl.
It’s time to stop taking away the possibilities of women and girls who have strived so much for excellence and distinguishing. And it’s time to stop pretending to be fair for men to compete in women’s sports. Biological males should only compete in the division of men – this is really so simple.
