“I just like to play this game. I just like to hit. As long as the joy of hitting and love for hitting the living, all other things can take care of myself,” said the 36-year-old.
“You will not go to a desperate situation and lower your head, thank God and just continue to work on what the team wants. More often than not, you will have such results,” he added.
Kohli spoke further about his preparations for big games and revealed that he was mentally preparing for such games. He just wants to follow your own template that involves hitting without high risk and concentrating on taking singles and pairs.
“For me, at this stage of my career, all just in the rise of these games, just excitement, going out here, I hope to do the job for a team and work hard as I can, I run hard between Wickkeke and play according to the demands of situations,” Kohli said.
“When all these things are gathering and pulling out, you obviously feel really good and to go through the team over the line and it is a great feeling,” he added.

Virat Kohli talks about the role of her teammates
In the same video, Virat Kohli also praised his teammates for his contribution to the team’s victory. He recalled special kicks from Hardik Pandya, Kl Rahul and Shreyas Iyer who made India a famous victory.
“As a team, you feel really great when people continue to enhance the insertion. When it is a team victory, it feels amazing. Hardik (Pandya) has nervously hit us with these two key shootings,” said the 36-year-old dough.
