Atlanta Drive GC has opened a close match with six points while playing singles to beat Jupiter Link 9-1, ending the first season of TGL Tiger Woods on Tuesday at Palm Beach Gardens.
Woods’s franchise Jupiter and Rory Mcilroy’s Boston Common Golf were eliminated from the playoffs of the playoffs thanks to the results on Monday. Atlanta (4-1-0, 8 points) ended up as the third seed and will face the Bay Golf Club, the second seed, in the semifinals in two weeks.
Other playoffs are a Golf Club in Los Angeles and No 4 New York Golf Club, which will meet in the second semifinal.
Woods and McIlroy faced a virtual golfge league and pulled it out of the 2025 field after the debut of the league was pushed back a year when its facility was built for the purposes damaged by storm winds at the end of 2023.
“I am proud of my teammates, I am proud of what we have built here and the excitement we managed to bring to Jupiter and what is even more important in Golf game,” Woods said on ESPN broadcasting after loss.
Jupiter (1-4-0, 2 points) was lagging behind for 2-0 on Tuesday night, but he engaged in the board when Nick Dunlap, playing on a contract with one match for Atlanta, hit a ride from the borders in the sixth hole. Jupiter “threw a hammer”, wanting to double the points on the hole. Atlanta instead rejected the hammer and acknowledged the hole for one point.
Atlanta got a point at the next hole and conveyed a 3-1 lead in the single. After Jupiter’s Tom Kim Drew from Atlanta, Billy Horschel and Woods split with Atlantan Lucas Glover, Max Homa leaned against Dunlap at the 12th Hole of Par-3 and hit a bunker. Homa failed to save a couple and Dunlap won the point.
After Horschel beat Kim for two points in no. 13, Jupiter threw a hammer in despair to start Woods’s battle at Par-3 14 against Glover. When Glover hit his 10 -foot T -shirt and changed from the needle, he increased Ante and threw a hammer to raise value to three points.
Jupiter accepted, but Woods’s T -shirt sailed well over green, and Atlanta won the hole.
What is next?
TGL lasts a week before he goes to postseason, and the leaders of Sofi Cup Los Angeles Golf Club faced the fourth seed of the New York Golf Club and Bay Golf Club, which took over the Atlanta Drive GC in the semifinals.
These matches are held on March 17 (March 18, 12 hours of UK time) and March 18 (March 19, 12 hours of UK time), before the best of the three finals will be held next week.
