Man utd Women forward Geysse expresses ‘painful and lonely’ feeling that she is somewhere she is not happy | Football news

The striker of Brazil Manchester United Geyse said he thought it was “painful and lonely” to stay somewhere that she was not happy.
The 26-year-old, who recently had a compassionate departure after her brother’s death, made her first female appearance in the 2025 Super League with a late replacement appearance in United’s 2-0 victory over Leicester on Sunday.
Geyse, who joined the United in the summer of 2023 from Barcelona, has held only nine league appearances this season, six of which started.
“Staying in a place where we don’t feel happy is a nauseous and lonely feeling. Every day looks harder, and the simple fact that we get there is a burden,” she wrote on Instagram.
“The environment, which should be welcome, becomes a field of discomfort, where it is difficult to find inner peace. When we are not in line with what surrounds us, the world around us loses color and energy.
“Sometimes the desire to change is created as an emergency need, but fear of unknown or insecurity about the future can paralyze us.
“However, it is crucial to remember that we deserve to be in places and situations that bring us happiness and fulfillment. This is the only way we can grow.”
United chief Marc Skinner asked after the game – before Geysse became a post on social media – about the current situation of the attacker.
“Geysa wants to play. He wants to start, but we all know it’s a difficult time he’s going through,” he said.
“Sometimes her mood will be up and down and that’s fine. We work with people, it’s not robots.”
In a statement, Manchester United said: “We continue to support Geyse in her well -being and continue to seek options that suit all parties.”
