“God just told me, I have to sit down and pay attention to what’s going on around me,” Ford, 54, told Fox News Digital.

“And I think try to use it for … something positive … no matter what it is, I should have had that other opportunity. It just doesn’t happen. You know? … that’s such a gift. I understand that. How valuable some things are now, and that focuses on me a little different. “

Ford grew up in the south and admitted that he had unhealthy eating habits and was forced to change his diet and fitness. He added that on his way to the tour did not help to reduce his food indulgence.

While fried chicken and mountain dew were previously main for Ford, it now has a new routine of fitness and diet.
“A lot of grilled chicken, a lot of grilled things,” he noticed. “I haven’t had soda since April, and I used to love a mountain.
“I’m a lot on a racing track and trying to get into some yoga and Pilates,” Ford laughed when he said it wasn’t something he ever thought he would come in.

“I work on all this and I just try to get strength … There’s a lot to restore strength and balance … but it’s okay. I’m struggling through it. I’m still here. I’m still blessed.”

With the second lease of life, Ford is full with renewed energy, ready to deliver new shows, fresh collaborations and arsenal of new music – bearing in mind the fact that life can change in the blink of an eye, and he plans “walk a little more slowly” moving forward.
