FBI Director Kash Patel, who just laid the oath on Friday, announced the post on Monday, declaring that “he was proud to have welcomed Dan Bongino as the next Deputy Director of the FBI.”

Bongino, who has previously served at the New York Police Department and as a secret service agent, is a successful conservative commentator hosting “The Dan Bongino Show”.
