Federal workers who do not return to duty will be placed on administrative leave, the state of Musk

Elon Musk, who leads Government Efficiency Department (Doge), federal workers warned on Monday morning that those who do not return to the office will be placed on administrative leave.
“Those who ignored the executive command of President Trump to return to work have now received more than a month alert,” Musk wrote On the x, the platform it also owns. “Starting this week, those who still do not return to duty will be placed on administrative leave.”
The men’s warning comes after announced on Saturday that federal employees must report their achievements from the last week or face the loss of work.
On Saturday, Musk said that federal employees would receive the E -habit that would direct them to list their achievements from the week earlier, with the Dogea leader later added that the task should be less than five minutes. A mass confusion followed On the eve of the deadline while some agencies resisted the commands, others encouraged their workers to follow, and others gave conflicting guidelines.
