“I am very honored today that on February 9, 2025, I recognized as the first day of the Bay of America,” the proclamation said.

Changes will be applied to official federal documents and tickets, although it is not clear whether the command also requires that schools use new terminology.
Trump also pushed the renaming of Alaska Mount Denali, pointing out that he was originally named after President William McKinley.
