Chelsea’s poor part of the form continued on Saturday as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Aston Vili.
Trevoh Chalobah swept the back injury after only eight minutes, but it did not reduce the hot start of Chelsea, and the blues celebrated their starting goal before the central back even sat down. Pedro Neta, who was lined up as a striker, went to the right wing and put a cross into a box of six yards that Enzo Fernendez cheerfully put home.
Villa tied ten minutes in the second half when Marco Asensio merged home Marcus Rashford, and the hosts looked most likely to grab the winner.
In the dying hurry, Villa achieved the goal they deserved. Rashford’s fast corner found Asensio unmarked in the box, and the Spanish effort somehow made his way through Filip Jorgensen and in the back of the net.
Blues leaks the opportunity to pass the fourth, while Villa ends the day just one point behind the seventh.
