The star of San Antonio Spurs Victor Wembanyama will miss the rest of the season after his deep venous thrombosis was diagnosed with his right shoulder, the team announced on Thursday.
“San Antonio Spursi announced today that Victor Wembanyama has been diagnosed with deep venous thrombosis in the right shoulder,” the team said. “The situation was discovered when Wembanyama returned to San Antonio after the All-Star game in San Francisco. It is expected that Wembanyama will miss the rest of the 2024-25 regular season. The team will provide updates as needed.”
