La Liga Confirm an increase in a salary cap in Barcelona
Barcelona has taken another step towards better financial health after La Liga has confirmed the increase in the club’s salary limit for the second half of the season.
The Barcelona composition looks like the one who has recently taken a financial throw, with only a few players with the Marquis, and most have either been purchased on cheap or homemade breeding.
Last January, the club salary limit was reduced to 204 million euros, which is less than € 270 million at the beginning of last season, at a time when Real Madrid managed to spend 755 euros.
Considering that President Joan Laporta desperately found new and inventive ways to raise money, this was significantly collected at EUR 426 million ahead of this season. However, the club was still obliged to find a hole in order to register the summer of signing Dani Olm and almost erupted when there was a Spanish international after missing the deadline to provide it for the second half of the campaign.
The salary eyelid increased after the end of the January transfer to 463 million euros, driving for just under € 40 million, although it still fades into insignificance compared to Madrid 754 million euros.
With the renovation of Nike partnership and selling a VIP box in the newly renovated, but still incomplete Nou camp, Barcelona returns to 1: 1 LA Liga consumption rules and is expected to be more competitive on the transfer market ahead of next season.
