Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli may have recently passed through the Torrid Times in the test crice, but the duo still remains a threat to the opposition when it comes to a format. Former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar felt the same and supported them to get well in the champion trophy.
Vengsarkar also believes that both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli difference in the Indian to the Indian team and claim that their presence will be very important. Both Rohit and Kohli have already withdrawn from T20i, but are still active in the other two formats.
Both have recently shown a view of returning to form during the series of go against England. While Rohit scored a magnificent hundred in the second ODO, Kohli hit fifty in the third match in Ahmedabad.

During the interview with Toi, Dilip Vengsarkar asked about the form of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli ahead of the key champion trophy. The former Indian cricket supported both Rohita and Kohlija to be in order in the tournament.
Vengsarkar believes that both players make a big difference in the team and supported them to give big performances on the big stage. They are both older team players and have many experiences behind them.
“They are players with a big match and will come in handy when big matches are played. The opposition is also careful, so their presence is very important. They have a big difference. I’m sure it is a bigger opportunity, which will be better their performance,” said Vengsarkar.

The last match in India will be against New Zealand on March 2. All their matches will be played in Dubai because of the hybrid model. If India manages to qualify for the knockout, they will continue to play in Dubai.
