Heavy category Jared Anderson (17-1, 15 ko) survived late intimidation to win a unanimous decision on Marios Kollias (12-4-1, 10 Kos) York on Friday night in his return fight in Madison Square Garden in Novi

Anderson, for 25 years, mostly controlled the fight with his sting and right hand against Kollias. However, in the last seconds of the tens, Kollias came to life, throwing a rush of shooting on Anderson’s head that made him look poignant as the bell sounded to end the fight.
Although Anderson was the winner, this was more loss because he was tired, he looked like he didn’t want to be there, and he was hurt by a guy who didn’t need to do it.
Top Rank will have to decide what they want to do with Jared because it doesn’t look like he has improved from his knockout loss from Martin Bakole last summer. The way Anderson fought tonight has lost most of the top 15 heavy weights.

It was not a kind of performance that Anderson was to show fans that he would return from his fifth round of knockout of Martin Bakole in his previous fight on August 3. Anderson hit Kollias throughout the fight, who set up traps and landed big blows. His problem was that he had not thrown enough and allowed Anderson to control the rounds.
