Everton and Liverpool release a joint statement condemning racist abuse aimed at Abdoulaye Doucoure
Everton and Liverpool have announced a joint statement that condemned the abuse aimed at Blues’s midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure after last night’s Merseyside derby.
Doucoure made fun of the passenger fans after the late equalization of James Tarkowski, encouraging an altercation with Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, resulting in both players shown in red cards.
Slot Reds Arne was also fired after the last whistle for something he told Judge Michael Oliver.
The Liverpool and Everton Football Club are aware of – and condemn in the strongest possible conditions – racist abuse received by Abdoulaye Doucoure after Wednesday night by Merseyside Derby.

The incident was preceded by a wave of gerns aimed at former little International Doucoure.
The statement was: “Liverpool FC and Everton FC are aware – and condemn in the strongest possible conditions – racist abuse received by Abdoulaye Doucoure next Wednesday night by Merseyside Derby.
“Such abuse is humiliating and will not be tolerated.
“Together, two clubs will cooperate with the Merseyside police, who is investigating the aim of identifying responsible individuals.
“We also encourage people who testify or experience abuse online to report and highlight it with the platforms of social media on which it appears.
“We must all, including the companies of social media, take the attitude of zero tolerance. Platforms must take responsibility and measures to ban such abusers.
“Racism and hatred have no place online, in our stadiums or in our communities.”
