Two men were arrested after seizing 5 million euros (£ 4 million) cocaine in Kildara County.
On Wednesday, Gardí (Ireland police) stopped and searched the vehicle and a residential estate was discovered in the Kildare area in Allenwood and approximately 72 kilograms of cocaine.
The men, the old in the 50s and the 60s, were arrested in connection with the relief and improvement of the remedies distribution activity for the organized crime group.
They were subsequently accused and needed on Thursday before the NAAS District Court.
Assistant commissioner Angela Willis of organized and serious crime said that “another significant cocaine compact is intended for the Irish market.”
“Garda Síochán and our partners for law enforcement are dedicated to the target of those involved in organized drug crime related to the damage, intimidation and violence in our communities across the country.”
