Support openly to transgender men and women who serve in the US Army decrease, according to a new poll, as President Donald TrumpThe administration moves to restore the ban on transgender troops.
According to Novi Poll58% of Americans support the allowing open -minded men and women to serve in the US army. This has been reduced from 66% of Americans who have reported to support transgender troops 2021 and 71% who expressed their support in 2019.
Republicans and independent are mostly lagging behind. Only 23% of the Republicans opened members of transgender services in the last survey, while 43% were in the 2019 and 2021 surveys.
The Independents support also fell from 78% in 2019 to 62% in the last poll. Democratic support remained strong from the 2019 Gallup survey, and is currently 84%.

The new survey was carried out on January 21 to 27, in the week when Trump returned to the White House.
Trump quickly moved to return the ban on the transgender troops that served in the US army, which he first imposed during his first term. The ban faced legal challenges and was later abolished by the then President Biden when he took his duty.

“In addition to hormonal and surgical medical interventions, the adoption of gender identity in disagreement with the sexual conflict between the individual with the military commitment to the honorable, true and disciplined way of life, even in one’s personal life,” continues.
The command also says that males and females should not use or share bed, change or swim, unless absolutely necessary during surgery.
On Monday, the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegsetth directed the army to stop allowing individuals with the history of gender dysphoria that they could join.
The memorial, from February 7, says: “Immediately enter into force, all new approaches to individuals with the history of gender dysphoria have fallen.”

The memo also says that members of services with gender dysforia who “voluntarily reported to serve our country and that they will be treated with dignity and respect.”
According to Reuters, the letter was submitted on Monday to the US District Court in Washington, DC
Trump’s command is already facing the legal challenges of current transgender military members of the military persons, who filed a lawsuit by calling Trump’s action unconstitutional.
