President Donald Trump received one of his highest Grades of job approval In his decade political career, after he started his another term with a burn of Executive actions.
New CBS News/YouG’s survey They found that 53% of adults in the United States has been approved by Trump’s entire job in power so far.
Most respondents said that the 78-year-old Trump would describe as “effective”, “focused”, “heavy”, “competent” and “energetic”-only 37% said he considered “compassionate”.
The vast majority – 70% – said Trump did what he promised during the 2024 campaign.
A survey published on Sunday was based on a study on 2,175 respondents conducted between last Wednesday and Friday. It carries an error border plus-ili-minus 2.5 percentage points.
CBS survey gives Trump greater total ratings than other recent research, including those conducted by Galup and Mold. But all the results generally show that Trump started his second term with more support than when he first took his post in 2017.
Trump’s positive total number came even while he achieved less than the star marks about the questions that were key to his victory in the presidential race, such as trade and inflation.
For example, 51% of respondents said CBS thought that Trump’s policies would increase food and food prices, opposite 28% who believe that his policies would lower prices, and another 20% who said they would not change anything.
Two -thirds of the respondents said that Trump’s administration does not focus enough to lower the prices of goods and services.
And 73% said that she thinks that new US tariffs will generally do things to do things more expensive for them, while only 8% believe that the tariffs will reduce prices.

Trump’s resolution of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, meanwhile, attracted the approval of 54% of respondents, although Democrats and liberals strongly opposed.
Respondents were mixed up on how many strengths and influences should have a so -called government efficiency department, Elon musk-Mod a working group aims to reduce federal bureaucracy.
