Why did Reece James miss the defeat of Fa Cup Chelsea of Brighton
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca insisted on the absence of Reece James from a defeat of Saturday’s defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion was simply part of his recovery plan.
James was completely omitted as Chelsea was sent to crash from FA Cupcausing the concern that the club captain has suffered another blow to the injury. It was only recently that he returned from his second edition of the season and missed more than half of each Premier League campaign from 2021/22.
His tickle injury The record encouraged the obvious concerns around James’ state when he was nowhere to be seen on Saturday, but Maresca insisted that there was nothing for Chelsea Fans for care.
“It’s planned,” Mareca said of James’ absence. “It’s okay. He trains, it was just to protect him a little to avoid injury again.”
Maresca has made a point of attempts to relieve players with long -term problems in action this season. And midfielder Romeo Lavia and Central Bek Wesley Fofana have been retained outside Conference league Squad all season, with Maresca admits that no player is capable of playing two games in one week.
James, who is in the second half of the season on the Conference League team, has succeeded in nine appearances in all so far.
