Christy Carlson Romano ‘Shot in the Eyes’ during a clay pigeon shooting with her husband


Former Disney star Christy Carlson Romano She almost lost her eye as she shot clay pigeons with her husband Brendan Rooney on his birthday.

On Saturday, the 40-year-old actress shared a video on Instagram showing her face injuries, including a big wound under her right eye, after “hitting her in five places” from “another party”.

Romano explained in his post that the trip was to be a “gift” for Rooney’s birthday.

“So, I shot in the eye. It wasn’t fun,” said the star “even Stevens” with a trembling sigh at the beginning of the clip.

“I shot here. Still inside,” she continued, pointing to a bullet under the eye, which was swollen with blood inside the eyeball.

“It’s a fragment here,” Romano said, tapping the side of his face near the eye.

“It’s a fragment here,” she added, pointing to a trail on her forehead. Romano raised his hair to show another wound at the forehead, saying, “We cleaned that.”

Romano expressed her gratitude for the care she received at the St. John’s South Austin in Austin, Texas.

“This was really bad tonight,” she said. “Everything is kind of cleaning. But I have to say, I shot in my face. And you live to tell a story.

“It was my husband’s birthday yesterday and I took him to shoot clay pigeons as a gift,” she wrote. “There was another party with us and they didn’t definitely shoot in the wrong direction and shot me in the face.”

Romano and Rooney met for the first time in February 2011 and tied the knot in December 2013. The couple divides the daughters of Isabella Victoria, 8 and Sophia Elizabeth, 5.

The writer shared honor his wife in the comments of his Instagram post.

“You are the bravest, most difficult, most of the stoic and negative women I have ever met,” he said. “I’m so grateful that you are alive. I’m so grateful that you are a mother to our children. I wouldn’t know what to do without you.

“I love you more than life itself,” he added, with the prayer hands of emoji.

Rooney also shared the videos of his wife on his Instagram story, writing, “Kiss his loved ones,” adding the emoji of red heart.

Cracking of clay pigeons is an external sport in which circular discs are upside down from the limestones and tons used as goals in the air pushed with machines called traps. Goalscorers use shotguns with each shoot that projects hundreds of small lead balls to hit clay pigeons.

Sport is usually not considered dangerous as long as security measures are followed.
