(Reuters) -accenture has abolished its goals of global diversity and inclusion after evaluating the changing political landscape in the US, according to the internal memorandum seen by Reuters on Friday.
The company will start the “sunny” goals of diversity, which it set in 2017, along with career development programs for “people of specific demographic groups”, according to the Memoranda of Executive Director Julie Sweet.
Meta, Alphabet and Amazon large technological companies are among a series of companies that have abolished the goals of diversity, equality and inclusion (dei) that led to the return of Republican Donald Trump to the US Presidency.
Sweet said that the change of accenture policy followed “assessing our internal policies and practice and developing a landscape in the United States, including recent executive commands that we must comply with.”
Since January 20th, Trump has issued a number of executive orders aimed at removing the Dei programs in the Federal Government and the private sector.
