Rajasthan Royals crept into Sairaj Bahutula as a bowling coach in the upcoming Indian Premier League season. Bahutula will work for RR under the supervision of Chief coach Rahula Dravid.
Prior to Bahutule, former Vikram Rathour coach also joined RR as their Coach to hit IPL 2025 and beyond. Bahutula will work with the bowling coach Shanea Bond, who has been with the franchise for some time.

Sairaj Bahutule recently worked at the National Academy of Crowns (NCA) in Bengalur. He had previously worked for Royals from 2018 to 2021 before joining the NCA, which was now converted to the center of excellence.
Bahutule spoke with Cricbuzza about his appointment with Rajasthan Royals. He is excited to join the franchise and work under the Rahul Dravid. Bahutule had previously collaborated with Dravid even during the mandate of the latter with the Indian team.
“Discussions are ongoing, and I am close to the end of my involvement in the franchise. It still has to elaborate on a few details, but I’m excited to be aligned with the Royals,” Bahutula said.
“I am also thrilled to have reunited with Rahul (Dravid). I was the one who introduced me to the Indian team during the last series of Trophy on the border of Gavaskar 2023, when I served as a coach of the spin-bun. Sairaj Bahutule in the Indian team
Sairaj Bahutule also briefly served as an Indian bowling coach after the T20 World Cup in 2024, when the team was without bowling before Morne Morkel appointed the role.
